Our Story

I want to share the journey behind Quran Trace and why creating this brand was important.

As a Qari and Hafidh who memorized the Quran in the blessed Masjid Al Haram, I also saw how today countless Muslims long for a deeper, more meaningful connection to Allah’s words.

I felt that the world today is full of too many distractions…

And that there must be a way to make the Quran a more creative and interactive part of our daily life.

Over the years, I’ve traveled worldwide, meeting people of the Quran—teachers, professors, and Shuyookh (scholars)—and learning about the unique ways different cultures approach Quranic learning.

These travels inspired me, and I began to study how the earliest generations, especially the Sahabah (the Prophet’s companions) and the Salaf (early generations), learned and connected with the Quran.

One key element I kept coming back to was the act of writing.

Our early predecessors used the pen as a central part of their learning and development.

Writing helped them remember, reflect, and engage deeply with the Quran.

This was so powerful for me that it inspired me to revive the tradition of writing the Quran so the Ummah could experience that level of closeness to Allah’s words.

To create a brand centered around the concept of writing the Quran with your own hands…

And that’s when Quran Trace was born.

Quran Trace was inspired by how the Sahabah wrote the Quran on different materials to preserve its words.

This method is still used in some parts of the world, such as Morocco and Mauritania, where the “lawh” (wooden tablet) method is a respected tradition.

We initially tested Quran Trace products with our students at our institute, El Badr where we have nearly 15 years of experience teaching Quranic excellence.

The results were inspiring…

The students reported how our products helped them with memorization, improved Arabic skills, and met a range of learning styles.

We were so encouraged by this success that we even presented Quran Trace at Al-Azhar University in Egypt, where it was endorsed by Shaykh Qari Dr. Ahmed Nuaina, one of the world’s leading Quranic authorities.

It was later approved by the UAE’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, giving us confidence that we were on the right path.

After just one year, Quran Trace is now available in over 50 countries, with schools and institutes around the world incorporating it into their teaching.

We’re constantly exploring new educational, psychological, and scientific methods to keep making our products even better, with benefits that go beyond just Islamic learning.

Quran Trace has been inspired by the past and created for the future.

And I hope it helps you the same way it has helped thousands worldwide.

Warm regards,

The Founder, Quran Trace

Our Mission

Our mission is to build products and resources that make connecting with the Quran accessible and meaningful.

We want to support a Quran-centered lifestyle, not only by helping people learn but also by creating tools that bring the Quran’s teachings to life.

We’re honored to revive and adapt this practice for today’s generation.

At Quran Trace, each product we develop is verified by top scholars and crafted with care, ensuring that it’s authentic, beneficial, and easy to use.

Our Vision

Our vision with Quran Trace is to help people "trace back" to the roots of Quranic tradition, learning, and character development.

When we say “trace,” it’s not just about the physical act of tracing letters.

I’m talking about reshaping ourselves and our lives according to the teachings of Islam.

Our inspiration comes directly from the greatest example to ever live:

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

As Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) beautifully described,

“His character was the Quran.”

The Quran isn’t just a book to be read — it’s a guide to be lived.

Its letters don’t just form words; they form the foundation of an entire way of being.

That’s why at Quran Trace, we aim to go beyond engagement with the outward beauty of Quranic calligraphy.

We want to help you embody the inner beauty it teaches.

Each stroke, each ayah, each reflection becomes a means to refine your character and draw closer to Allah.

It’s about creating a path back to a deeper understanding of the Quran, inspired by authentic and time-tested traditions.
